About the agency

The U.S. Department of the Treasury was established in 1789. Its mission is to maintain a strong economy and create economic and job opportunities by promoting the conditions that enable economic growth and stability at home and abroad, strengthen national security by combating threats and protecting the integrity of the financial system, and manage the U.S. Government’s finances and resources effectively.

Our holdings

Government Documents provides access to an extensive collection of Department of the Treasury publications, including the following series:

Annual reports of the Secretary of the Treasury (T 1.1:) are also available in the U.S. Congressional Serial Set database.

Treasury bulletins (Microfiche, Jan. 1941- Sept. 2000). Also available online through the Financial Management Service (March 1996- present). 

Circulars (T 1.4:)

We also have Congressional reports, documents, committee hearings, and prints related to the Department of the Treasury. Search for these using ProQuest Congressional.
