What is a Streaming Video?

If you have ever used Netflix or Hulu before, then you are probably already familiar with the concept of streaming videos. Streaming allows for people to access films through an internet connected device without having to download the film. Currently we have over 4,200 films available streaming! This includes documentaries, archival footage and even feature films.

In order to keep up with current technology, Sinclair Library has been working to convert films from obsolete formats (such as VHS tapes) into digital formats. We also have off-air programing that we have permission to stream from the orginal copyright holders as well for you to view. Please see our Frequently Asked Questions section for more information about Sinclair Streaming.
