Information for Instructors & Faculty
Please submit requests at least two weeks before the use date.
There are three options to request media to show in class.
Download the PDF form, save a copy and send it as an attachment to email@example.com.
Visit the Wong Audiovisual Center during normal business hours and fill out a form.
Make a request through the Hawaiʻi Voyager catalog.
Information & Policy
UH System Faculty, students and staff may directly request media owned by the Wong Audiovisual Center to use in the class. Items may be picked up at UHM Sinclair Library Wong Audiovisual Center or delivered to any UH System Library. This service is not available for community and associate card holders.
If a film owned by the Wong Audiovisual Center is only available in streaming format and you prefer a physical copy, then a DVD copy may be made upon request. Please allow at least three weeks for this service.
Faculty needing a classroom to highlight a media rich lecture or schedule a group viewing outside of class time may reserve the Sinclair Library Media Classroom. Located on the Ground Floor, the Media Classroom (Room 3) is a facility for showing projected media on a large screen. It is available to anyone affiliated with the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa during regular library hours for instructional purposes only. UH Mānoa faculty may reserve the Media Classroom for a class (12-25 persons) only if Wong Audiovisual media is used. Handicapped access is available but please notify staff in advance. No food or drink allowed.
The following equipment is available in the Viewing Room:
Laptop connection, keyboard and mouse are available to checkout at the Information Concierge Desk on the first floor.
