The University of Hawaii at Manoa's American Studies collection is interdisciplinary in nature, comprising over 80,000 volumes and many serials drawn from American national and local history, economics, political science, and literature. Call number areas that include materials relevant to American Studies include:
E 151+ | United States History
F 1-975 | United States State and Local History
HC 95-109 | United States Economic History
JK | Political Science, United States
PS | Literature, United States
While the majority of American Studies materials are located on the first floor (reference) and the second floor (circulating materials and periodicals), the Asian and Hawaii/Pacific collections on the fourth and fifth floors contain many useful materials as well; ex. U.S. relations with Japan, Hawaii statehood, etc.
