Each of the below collections includes imagery related to nuclear testing and its after effects in the Marshall islands. The above image comes from a series of 15 photos that are included in the Jack Tobin Marshall Islands Anthropology Collection. These 15 images document a 1957 trip to Argonne National Laboratories by a group of Marshallese from the island of Rongelap, following their exposure to radiation via the "Castle Bravo" test of March 1, 1954.
