Digital Humanities Resources: Home

This guide is an introduction to Digital Humanities (DH) and the resources available for DH research and teaching through the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Libraries.

Digital Humanities?

Digital humanities (DH), also known as digital scholarship, is an interdisciplinary research field and set of methodologies situated at the intersections of humanistic inquiry and digital technologies. This can be anything from text mining newspapers, creating a database, developing a podcast, and much more.

Related areas of scholarship include public history, computational humanities, and cultural analytics.

Check out the Digital Humanities Awards for some examples of projects and approaches.
