Evidence-Based Practice: Appraise

Questions to Ask

When appraising the evidence that was found, ask these basic questions about your evidence:

1. What are the results?

2. Are the results valid?

3. Are the results applicable?

  • How useful or relevant is this to my clinical practice?
  • What will be the costs to apply the evidence?
