The Gu Jin Tu Shu Ji Cheng 古今圖書集成 (The Complete Collection of Illustrations and Writings from the Earliest to Current Times) is a vast encyclopaedic that contained 800,000 pages and over 100 million Chinese characters. It was compiled in China during the reigns of Qing emperors Kangxi and Yongzheng. Completed in 1725 and printed in 1726 using copper movable type printing.
The collection includes works on astronomy, geography, history, philosophy, literature, politics, economics, art, education, agriculture, medicine, and more. The Complete Classics Collection of Ancient China is the most comprehensive compendium of its type in the world.
