This is a guide to resources and information about the homeless population in Hawai'i.
The information available in this LibGuide can help answer questions involving statistics about the homeless population (how many, where they are located, if they use shelters and resources, etc.). It can also address questions about demographics such as homeless men, women, children, veterans, and people of different ethnic groups.
These resources can be used for research on the personal or professional level, and many of the linked websites are organizations designed to help the homeless, with contact information provided. With an increased awareness of the homeless situation in Hawai'i and the United States in general, hopefully we can provide the help and resources that are greatly needed and work towards a better future.
Some UH dissertations and theses and other scholarly works are freely available in ScholarSpace, the UHM institutional repository.
