Accessing Web of Science

You can access Web of Science from the link below, or from the main library webpage via the Featured Resources menu:

  • Web of Science
    Multidisciplinary index covering the journal literature of the sciences (Science Citation Index Expanded) as well as both the Social Sciences Citation Index and the Arts & Humanities Citation Index. Approximately 70% of the records have author abstracts. Online coverage from 1980 to present.

What is Web of Science?

Operated by ISI Web of Knowledge, Web of Science is an online periodical index.  In spite of its name, Web of Science is multidisciplinary and covers:

  • Science Citation Index Expanded
  • Social Sciences Citation Index
  • Arts & Humanities Citation Index

In addition to searching for articles on your topic, you can use Web of Science to find cited references, determine impact factor and much more.
