University of Hawaii has access to three main streaming music collections through Alexander Street Press (listed below).
Many recordings include the original liner notes, and some composer biographies are linked from the Garland Encyclopedia of World Music.
You can access Alexander Street Press by clicking on the graphic or you can reach the individual archives (Classical Music Library or Contemporary World Music) by clicking on the links found on the Music Subject Guide Libguides.
Note: If you are off campus or using your personal computer, you will need to first log in using your UH username and password.
You can send tracks, albums, or playlists to your mobile device by creating a shortlink. After clicking on the icon (labeled send to mobile), you can save the shortlink in one of three ways:
Shortlinks are only active for 48 hours after their creation.
After registering for a personal user account, you can create personal or public playlists. Simply click on the "Sign In" link on the upper right corner (below the search bar) and follow the instructions to register.
