Web of Science
Multidisciplinary index covering the journal literature of the sciences (Science Citation Index Expanded) as well as both the Social Sciences Citation Index and the Arts & Humanities Citation Index. Approximately 70% of the records have author abstracts. Online coverage from 1900 to present.

Other Article Databases
Several journal databases the library subscribes to provide citation and metric information. Selected EBSCO and ProQuest databases offer cited reference search options. Emerald Insight provides download numbers for its full-text articles.

A platform for academics to share research papers.
Google Scholar Profiles
Provides a simple way for authors to keep track of citations to their articles. You can check who is citing your publications, graph citations over time, and compute several citation metrics.
Impactstory
An open-source, web-based tool that helps researchers explore and share the diverse impacts of all their research products--traditional ones like journal articles, but also alternative products like blog posts, datasets, and software.
Kudos
Helps researchers increase the visibility and impact of their publications by explaining in simple language what their works are about and why they matter.
Mendeley
A free reference manager and academic social network. For each article the number of Mendeley users that have added the article to their Mendeley library is shown.

Article-level metrics for every article published by PLOS (Public Library of Science) .

A social networking site for scientists and researchers to share papers, ask and answer questions, and find collaborators.
