Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL)

The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) is a systematic inquiry into student learning which advances the practice of teaching (read the description from Wikipedia).

SoTL research is often focused on experimenting and assessing classroom practices using such methodologies as Action Research.
