Introduction

Aloha mai e Koʻu mau haumāna!
I have created this guide for those of you in the Pacific Studies 401 Capstone class, particularly  as you write the research component for your capstone project. Effort has been made to include resources directly related to Pacific Studies.

At the UHM Library, you have access to the Hawaiian Collection and the Pacific Collection, located on the fifth floor of Hamilton Library (in the older part of the building).

Some of our materials might be available online, but most of it is held only in paper, in our library. This guide will help you figure out how to find what you need.

You are always welcome to visit us to discuss your research project. Librarians are available to help you at the Hawaiian and Pacific Collections reference desk.
