Government Documents - Congress, Laws, and Legislation: Congressional Budget Office

This guide provides information about how to find laws, legislative history, U.S. Congressional publications, and the publications of Congressional agencies.

Congressional Budget Office

The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) is a nonpartisan legislative branch agency that prepares budget forecasts and analyses of pending legislation for the use of Congress. It was established in 1975.

The Government Documents Collection holds a small collection of CBO publications. Our holdings are partially cataloged. CBO analyses of individual bills can be found in House and Senate reports in the U.S. Congressional Serial Set.
