Airfields in Hawai'i: Upolu Airport

This is a short guide to assist you in finding out information about airports and airfields in Hawai'i.

Background

Upolu Airport began as a War Department landing field called Suiter Field in 1927. It was used by the Navy during World War II. Following the war, it was returned to the Territory of Hawaii.
