Streaming Hawaiʻi Videos: Hawaiʻi Videos

Streaming Videos

Two hula dancers

UH Mānoa's Hawaiian Collection has many streaming videos available in our library's video streaming databases and in OneSearch.

In OneSearch, you'll find documentaries we purchased streaming licenses for as well as videos we have digitized because they were in obsolete formats. This reformatting began in March 2009 and continues today. These videos are either ones we purchased many years ago or have recorded as part of the Hawaiian Collection's Off-Air Program. A UH username and password are necessary for accessing the videos. The following pages highlight some of our really popular videos and subjects.

We also have many documentaries that are only available on DVD or VHS. If you are UHM faculty and would like to request to make a physical video of ours streaming for your class, please visit the webpage Course Reserves Media/Streaming Reserves Info. Note these requests need to be submitted two months before the beginning of the semester.
