Getting the Most out of PubMed Medline: Getting Articles

The  button connects your search results to subscribed content from the UH Manoa Library, and is your one-stop shop for getting the full-text of articles.

To display the  button,

• Access PubMed Medline through the UH Manoa Library's website and login with your UH Manoa ID and password;
• Click on an article title link to view the   button and links to other full text article options
  • OR click on the Display options button and select Abstract as the Format

For users NOT accessing PubMed Medline through the UH Manoa Library, the   button will not appear.

The  button displays when viewing search results using the Abstract format or when viewing the PubMed record for an article. 

Clicking on the  will direct you to a UH Manoa Library LibKey page or a OneSearch Manoa page with links to the article.

If the article is NOT available through the library, you will see a OneSearch Manoa page with a prompt to Sign in to check request options. Sign in with your UH ID and password to request a copy of the article. If an article is not in the UH Manoa Library collection, use the Library's Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Service where you ask the library staff to get you a copy.
