Filters are search tools that allow you narrow search results by text availability, publication date, species, article type, language, sex, subject, journal category, and age.

Using Filters

Steps to apply filters to your search results:

  1. Run a search in PubMed.
  2. Click on a filter sidebar selection.
  3. Click on "Show additional filters" in Legacy PubMed or "Additional Filters" in New PubMed to see other filter options.
