Researching ____ Newspapers

Note: Fiji’s unique history makes it essential to know a little bit of history when researching newspapers. Due to it’s colonial history Fiji has three major language groups: Fijian, English, and Hindi. Of these, English is often the language of power and publication. However, for research it is important to know that papers have appeared in all three of these languages.
