West Papua falls within a special category when it comes to Hamilton library. Even though the country is ethnically, culturally, and linguistically part the Pacific, broadly; and Papua New Guinea, specifically; because the country was colonized by the Dutch, and is currently occupied by Indonesia the works by, from, and about West Papua are located in the Asia collection.
Hamilton library’s Asia collection does not have any current newspapers from West Papua.
