ACCESS TO HAWAIIAN AND PACIFIC LIBRARY MATERIALS

  • Use OneSearch to identify materials.
  • After identifying which titles you need, check for availability of online copy via HathiTrust Extended Access Service (ETAS).
  • For titles that are not available via Hathi Trust (and can thus be made available physically for use), requests may be submitted via these methods:
    • UH Mānoa patrons
      • Use our Request, Sign, Grab, and Go service to request that materials be retrieved and loaned to you. Materials that can be borrowed will be available for pick-up at Hamilton Library.
    • Non-Mānoa UH System patrons have two options
      • Use our Request, Sign, Grab, and Go service to request that materials be retrieved and loaned to you. Materials that can be borrowed will be available for pick-up at Hamilton Library. OR
      • Submit an Intra-System Loan request via your home library. Materials that can be borrowed will be sent to your home library for you to pick up there.
  • If any of the titles you request can not be borrowed, you will be contacted by a librarian or staff member to determine if alternatives can be identified, or if partial scans can be provided.

HELP WITH RESEARCH - FOR STUDENTS, FACULTY, AND STAFF

We continue to offer help with research. Contact information is here.
