The University of the Ryukyus Library Joins Minna de Honkoku Project

On January 6, 2021 (JST), the University of the Ryukyus Library has announced that it would join a project named Minna de honoku みんなで翻刻.

"Minna de Honkoku"

"is a project to promote the transcription of historical materials with a large number of participants. This project was started in 2017 by Research Group for Historical Earthquakes, Kyoto University as a project to transcribe historical earthquake documents."

The Minna de honkoku 2021 Summit was held on January 31, 2021 (JST). YONAHA Masaki (與那覇政輝) of the University of the Ryukyus Library talked about their Minna de honkoku project with the Ryukyuan/Okinawan materials.
