The Asian Program at the Florida International University is going to have a free, virtual colloquium titled Dialogue on Japan’s Marginalized: Ainu and Okinawans on Tuesday, Apr. 13, 2021 (EST).

"Join us on Tuesday, April 13th, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 7:15 PM (EST) for a virtual colloquium titled, "Dialogue on Japan’s Marginalized: Ainu and Okinawans," featuring three Faculty experts on Japanese society (Wesley Ueunten, Mitzi Carter, and Masako Kubota). We will discuss topics regarding Ainu and Okinawans in terms of diverse issues such as sociopolitical history, cultural identity, human rights, and immigration."
